Shalini Gobi Singh is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College Of Physiotherapists Of Ontario and member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She received a Masters of Physical Therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2005.
Over the span of her career in many countries, Shalini has mastered a variety of skills and techniques including soft-tissue release, trigger point releases, McKenzie Method of Mechanical diagnosis and Therapy, Mulligan Concepts, joint mobilizations, taping and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
By staying current with research and updating with advance techniques, Shalini is proficient in clinical decision making and implementing evidence based practice.
Due to her passion towards woman's health and her experience in working along Mid wives drives her to undergo a broad range of post graduate training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. This enables her to assess and treat various types of Urinary Incontinence, organ Prolapse in women, Painful bladder syndrome, Nonbacterial chronic Prostatitis, Chronic pelvic pain syndrome, painful intercourse, Vaginismus, Endometriosis, Pudendal nerve irritation, pre-natal and post-partum care and Post-surgical Management.
Shalini believes in complete holistic treatment and she strives to empower them with knowledge and a home exercise program which enables them to play a dynamic role in their rehabilitation.
